Choosing your lilies

When shopping around for lilies, check out what your local nursery or Home Depot has to offer. This will give you an idea of how you want to start your lily garden. Home Depot offers potted lilies or you can buy the bulbs in bags and plant them yourself.

Your other option is ordering online. I recommend American Meadows. I have ordered lilies and other plants from them and have never had a problem with their products. The lily bulbs come in well packaged boxes and are large and healthy.

Ordering lilies online gives you a wide variety of lilies to choose from. In addition, nurseries give you free packets of seeds from wildflowers to vegetables which you can add to your garden collection.
